ROBOTX – TWO DAY ROBOT BUILDING WORKSHOP

The Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University in collaboration with MD Innovator Pvt. Ltd. has successfully organized "RobotX" an intensive two-day robot- building workshop, on 4 and 5 March, 2025. The Expert of the workshop were Mr Prawal, Founder of MD Innovator Pvt. Ltd. and Mr Jaspal, STEM Trainer, MD Innovator Pvt. Ltd. 

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS and Dr Sameer Dev Sharma HoD, USCS. 

Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma encouraged students to actively participate in hands-on learning experiences like RobotX. Prof Dharam Buddhi applauded the initiative of RobotX and motivated students to leverage such opportunities to enhance their technical expertise and problem solving. 

First day participants built Robo Cars, applying the basics of robotics in a hands-on session. Second day, they learned about sensor integration in robotics, enhancing automation. The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, acknowledging participants dedication.  

Under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS the workshop was successfully coordinated by Mr Praveen Shah with the support of Mr Ashish Bhatt, Ms Manisha Saini, Ms Manisha Khanduja, Ms Vyeshikha, Mr Vipual Kashyap & Student Volunteers.
