Expert Talk on “National Pharmacy Education Day”

The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, organized an expert talk on 06 March 2025 in the UIPS Seminar Hall under the supervision of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Director, UIPS, Uttaranchal University. The event was hosted by Mr Ashish Singh Chauhan, Assistant Professor, UIPS, and facilitated by Dr Nidhi Gairola, HoD, UIPS, Uttaranchal University. The event focused on “Entrepreneurship & Startups in Pharma and Pharmacy Practice: Encouraging Innovation, Incubation Centers, and Pharmaceutical Startups.” The distinguished expert, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Singh delivered an insightful presentation on the impact of Industry 4.0 on the pharmaceutical sector. He discussed the integration of advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, and automation in pharma, highlighting how these innovations are transforming the industry. Attendees better understood entrepreneurship, best practices, case studies, and regulatory challenges. The event fostered a collaborative environment, encouraging networking and exchanging ideas. The event ended with a vote of thanks propsoed by Dr Sumit Durgapal, Professor, UIPS, Uttaranchal University, expressing gratitude to the organizers and participants.
