The Competition Preparation Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM), Uttaranchal University, successfully conducted a Mock Interview Session on 7 and 8 March 2025 for MBA final-year students to enhance their employability skills. The session provided students with a real-time corporate interview experience and constructive feedback to refine their techniques. The event began with a Group Discussion (GD) round, where students debated topics like "Future of AI" and "Live-in Relationship vs. Married Life." Their communication skills, analytical thinking, and confidence were assessed, and shortlisted students moved to the Personal Interview round. The interview panel, comprising Dr Tilottama Singh, Dr B C Kandpal (HR), Dr Megha Agarwal, Dr Farman Ali (Finance), Dr Anil Singh Chauhan, and Mr. Pransanjeet Samanata (Marketing), evaluated the students on technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, confidence level and job readiness.
Each student received personalized feedback, helping them improve their interview strategies and professional demeanour. The session significantly boosted students' confidence and preparedness for placement interviews. The Competition Preparation Cell extends its gratitude to the panelists, faculty members, and organizers for their support in making this initiative a success.
