A webinar titled ‘My Menstruation, My Pride’ was organized by the School of Liberal Arts in collaboration with Globalhunt Foundation on 11 & 12 of February, 2025. The guest speaker was Mrs Nitya Chaudhary, CSR executive of Unicharm. The webinar was successfully conducted in two different sessions with the goal of educating students about their sexual health and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation. The sessions aimed to encourage open discussions and empower students with knowledge to create a more inclusive and supportive environment. The first session held on 11 February for the female students to educate them about their body which includes female hygiene, menstruation health and changes that occur while puberty and teenage. It also included a segment of breaking myths and stereotypes about menstruation.

On 12 February, a separate session was held for male students to educate them about the changes they experience during puberty. This includes growth in height, changes in muscle mass, the deepening of the voice, and the development of body hair. A key component was discussing the emotional and psychological changes boys undergo as their bodies mature. Puberty is not just about physical changes; it also brings emotional and psychological shifts. The event included discussions about mood swings, self-esteem issues, body image concerns, and the importance of seeking support when feeling overwhelmed.

Both sessions were met with enthusiastic participation, engagement, and positive feedback. Students appreciated the safe space created for learning and discussion which has promoted health awareness among young individuals. The event was duly coordinated by Ms Shikha Negi, Member Secretary of Women Cell, School of Liberal Arts.
