100 Hrs training program on “Microsoft Power BI”

Centre of Excellence for Women Empowerment has been established by Honeywell in association with ICT Academy at Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University under which a 100 Hrs training program on “Microsoft Power BI” was inaugurated on 11 February 2025.This program is designed for the final-year female students aiming to enhance their data analytics skills and empower them with industry-relevant knowledge and tools for better career opportunities. The trainers for the program are Ms Bhawana Gautam, ICT Academy and Ms Nagaveena Hebbar, ICT Academy. 

The inaugural ceremony was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Prof (Dr)Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director USCS, Mr. Aditya, Senior Manager ICT, Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD USCS and Mr Yogesh Juyal. 

Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma stressed the importance of integrating technological expertise with analytical skills, empowering students for future career opportunities.  

Mr Aditya, shared insights on the growing relevance of Microsoft Power BI in the industry and encouraged students to leverage this opportunity for professional growth. 

Prof Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and skill development among students. 

This training program will equip students with essential data analytics skills, industry insights, and hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI, preparing them for future career opportunities. 

The inauguration ceremony was smoothly coordinated by Ms Manisha Saini and Ms. Manisha Khanduja, concluding with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms Divya Rawat.
