Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management at
Uttaranchal University hosted a webinar on “Career Opportunities in the Global
Hospitality Industry” on 22 March 2025 where Mr Kavindra Tewari, Director,
Human Resource, The
Ritz-Carlton, Pune, shared
the valuable corporate insights and hospitality expertise with the
participants of the hospitality industry.
During the session speaker talked about the latest career
trends in hospitality and highlighted major trends influencing the industry, he
also discussed emerging career opportunities and how job seekers can tackle
challenges and grab opportunities for their career growth. The event was
facilitated by Dr Manish Badoni, Director, USHHM and the event was organised by
Mr Vijay Pant, Assistant Professor, USHHM.
Primary goal of the webinar was to share industry insights,
career opportunities in hospitality sector, event management, and in Human
Resource, key speaker Mr Kavindra Tewari briefly introduced about the
importance and highlighted the role of global hospitality industry, he also
focused how major cities hosting G20 events offered luxury accommodations and
executive hospitality services to the international dignitaries within the
various cities in India and stimulate the local business, boost tourism and generate
employment.
Dr Manish Badoni expressed gratitude to resource person, all
attendees and participants.
The event provided valuable insights into diverse career
paths available in the hospitality sector.
