Industrial visit to Rubico IT Pvt. Ltd.

The Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS) Uttaranchal University organized an industrial visit to Rubico IT Pvt. Ltd. Dehradun, on 05 Dec 2024 for the students of first year MCA. Rubico is a renowned IT services company specializing in high-quality web and software solutions, and has become a trusted partner for clients worldwide. Accompanied by faculty members Ms. Manisha Saini and Mr Aagman Kaparwan, the students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the company’s operations, including key aspects of software development, project management, and client interaction. 

Special appreciation was extended to Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS for her invaluable support and guidance throughout the visit. Ms Ankita Rawat, HR, shared inspiring career insights, stressing adaptability, continuous learning, and key skills like communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and tech proficiency for success in the evolving IT industry. 

The students engaged with software engineers, project managers, and other professionals, actively discussing project management, software architecture, and testing. The visit offered a valuable and impactful learning experience, leaving a lasting impression.  

Under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD USCS, and with the essential support and contributions of Ms Manisha Khanduja, the visit was a resounding success.
