USHHM, Uttaranchal University Hosts Quality & Skill Enhancement Workshop on Indian Cuisine for Hotel Management Students

USHHM, Uttaranchal University conducted a Quality and Skill Enhancement Workshop on 20 November 2024 focusing on the intricacies of Indian cuisine for its Hotel Management students. Esteemed culinary expert Chef Kamal Singh Bisht spearheaded the session, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to guide the students through this enriching experience.   

 

The workshop was meticulously designed to cover every aspect of Indian culinary art, from the preparation to the final execution of dishes. Chef Bisht emphasized the importance of mastering technical skills while fostering creativity, encouraging students to explore innovative approaches to elevate their craft. His mentorship not only enhanced the students' technical abilities but also inspired a deeper appreciation for the diverse flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine.   

 

The event underscored the institute's commitment to delivering exceptional education and practical exposure to budding hospitality professionals under the leadership of Dr Manish Badoni, Director, USHHM. The workshop also served as a platform for students to engage directly with industry veterans, gaining valuable insights into the nuances of professional cooking. The session was hosted under the aegis of SDG Club.
