The Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, organized an international webinar on “Transformation of International Consumer Behavior into Measurable Elements as an AI-based Simulator (Consumer Behavior Spectrum Model—CBSM)” on November 20, 2024. The primary focus of this webinar was to make the students understand the Consumer Behavior Spectrum Model (CBSM), an AI-driven framework that transforms diverse consumer behaviors into measurable and actionable elements. This model helps the students understand how AI-based simulations can help predict, analyze, and adapt to shifting consumer trends across global markets.
The program began with the deliberation by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University. Ms Anika Sharma, Assistant Professor at UIM, Uttaranchal University welcomed the distinguished guest speaker Dr Daniel Oskooei, expert from the University Canada West, Canada. Dr Tilottama Singh, HOD, UIM further introduced the guest to the audience and emphasized the relevance of understanding Consumer Behaviour Modeling with AI-based simulation in the contemporary time.
The guest speaker for the session Dr Daniel Oskooei, highlighted the relevance of understanding International Consumer Behavior in today’s globalized and digitally driven economy. He mentioned the significance of tools like AI-based simulators and models such as CBSM with an explanation of key factors influencing global consumers, such as cultural diversity, economic conditions, technological adoption, and regional preferences. He highlighted the challenges in measuring and predicting consumer behavior across different markets and discussed why quantifying behavioral trends is critical for businesses by explaining the elements such as psychographics, spending patterns, social influences, and brand engagement metrics. He shared his views on the CBSM framework and its implementation in organization.
The webinar concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Tilottama Singh, Head of the Department, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University. She expressed gratitude to Dr Daniel Oskooei for his enriching disclosure.
