“Entrepreneur Idea Showcase on Empowering Student Innovations”

The E-Cell of Uttaranchal School of computing Sciences organized an Entrepreneur Idea Showcase on “Empowering Student Innovations” on 20 November 2024. The event aimed to ignite creativity and develop entrepreneurial skills, providing students a platform to present ideas and connect with peers and mentors. 

Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS remarked that entrepreneurship is the cornerstone of innovation, and today's young minds are the architects of a brighter future.  

The judges, Dr Bipin Chandra Kandpal, Assistant Professor, UIM and Dr Meera Sharma Associate Professor, USCS, evaluated the participants based on originality, creativity, market potential, societal impact, and overall presentation. 

Participants engaged actively, presenting well-researched solutions to real-world challenges. Teams from different colleges also brought diverse ideas, making the showcase inclusive and inspiring. Sanchi Sisodia and Shreya were the winners, while Fatima Al Zohra was the runner-up in the competition. 

The event was successfully coordinated by Ms Ruby Faizan, Mr Akhilesh Pandey, Ms Khushboo Singhal, and Mr Gaurav Choudhary with the support of Ms Manisha Saini and Ms. Manisha Khanduja, under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD, USCS.
