Law College Dehradun, faculty of Uttaranchal university conducted the 5th National Article Writing Competition, under the aegis of Vasundhara the green society, on 26 November 2024, under the theme– ‘Indigenous Rights and environmental protection: legal challenges in safeguarding India’s nativity’. The event was launched on 30th of August and the participations were closed for assessment on 25th October 2024. The in-house panel of judges assessed the entries from over 37 participants.
The 1st position was bagged by Dr G Kondaiah, Government Degree College for Men, Yogi Vemana University, Andhra Pradesh who won the cash prize of INR 3000, 2nd position was bagged by Ms Kalyani Madhavi from Maharashtra National Law University winning a cash prize of INR 1500 and the 3rd position was won by Ms Anchal Gupta from Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun. The event witnessed active participation of students from various universities across the country.
