The World Heart Day was celebrated on 29 September 2024 to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and to promote the heart-healthy living in the Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University. The theme of this event was "Use Heart for Action" highlighting the importance of maintaining a healthy heart. The day focused on educating the healthy lifestyle to promote the healthy heart.
The Poster competition was organized among the students. The Participants shared informative content through poster to discussing how to make your heart healthy. The Director of UIPS Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering the importance of healthy heart.
B Pharm I Year students participated in a Poster Presentation. The awards included the Best Creative Poster Student Award for winners. The winner team was Mr Kush Sharma and Ms Nidhi Shri and Runner up team was Mr Aryan and Mr Alok.
The entire event was coordinated by Dr Nidhi Gairola, Associate Professor and HoD, Mrs Pallavi Ghildiyal, Mrs Shilpa Rana, Mr Akhilesh Nautiyal & Mr Ayush Dangwal, Assistant Professor UIPS. The celebration was a grand success, emphasizing Heart and its invaluable role in healthcare.
