UIM organised the Seminar on “Strategic Synergies: Navigating Recruitment and Resource Management for a Future Ready Workforce”

Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, hosted a seminar titled “Strategic Synergies: Navigating Recruitment and Resource Management for a Future-Ready Workforce” on 19 September 2024. 

Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, welcomed Mr. Navneesh Sahani, the guest of honour. Mr Sahani, an esteemed alumnus (MBA Batch 2015-17) and Founder/CEO of Opportunity Hub One Step Solution, has led his company to notable success, with 45 employees and a turnover of 1.2 crore in just three years. 

Prof Suri also highlighted the significant role of alumni, stating that they bridge the gap between the university’s legacy and its current educational practices. “Our alumni embody the principles and skills from their academic journey and significantly contribute to our university’s legacy,” he said. He urged students to view alumni as role models who demonstrate the practical application of their education.  

Mr Sahani’s keynote address cantered on the integration of recruitment strategies with resource management to develop a future-ready workforce. He shared his entrepreneurial journey, detailing how he transformed his passion for helping others into a thriving business. Mr. Sahani emphasized the importance of leveraging synergies between recruitment and resource management to not only prepare a workforce for the future but also to address the complexities of an evolving business landscape. His company provides tailored solutions across various domains, ensuring that businesses remain competitive and efficient. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students gained valuable insights into career development and organizational success.   

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Pooja Soni, Head of the Alumni Cell. She expressed gratitude to Mr Sahani, the faculty, and students. The event was a great success.
