The Aerospace Engineering Department and Aviation Department joined the programme to celebrate The National Space Day "Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India's Space Saga." on 23 August 2024 with the students at Uttaranchal University addressed by Smt. Draupadi Murmu the President of India.
We are proud of what our country has achieved in the space industry. It's also a day to honour our space scientist’s accomplishments in the Space region. Regarding this industry, our government has made several forward-thinking decisions, and we have also organised Exhibition as well as Workshop on the same. We have planned more such programmes in the upcoming days.
On this occasion Capt. Swarm Sharma opened the event, Dr Sachin Srivastava, Head of Aerospace Engineering Department and Ms Priyanka Arun Kumar, Head of Aviation motivated the students through their inspirational words. The event was coordinated by Dr S P Gairola along with aerospace faculty.
