Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University hosted a captivating seminar on 23 August 2024, titled “Winning in Courtroom: Advanced Litigation Techniques” by the renowned advocate, Adv. Rajat Dua. organized under the aegis of the Training and Recruitment Division, Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University.
The session was inaugurated with great fervour by Shri Jitender Joshi, the President of Uttaranchal University, alongside Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and all the Deans and Directors. A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the University’s Kulgeet set the auspicious tone for the event. Following which, the moderators for the seminar, Ms. Arshia and Mr. Avinash Singh called the resource person for the day, Adv. Rajat Dua for his felicitation.
Adv. Rajat Dua, a seasoned legal practitioner with over 15 years of experience, shared his invaluable insights on the art of courtroom success. His journey, which began with a stint in hotel management before pursuing law, offered a unique perspective on the legal profession. He candidly discussed his early days of practice, including setting up his chamber and partnering with a batchmate. Through sheer determination and hard work, Adv. Dua has established himself as a prominent figure in the legal field. Adv. Rajat Dua’s session was a perfect opportunity for aspiring legal professionals to learn from a seasoned practitioner. His insights into advanced litigation techniques provided the audience with practical tips and strategies to enhance their courtroom performance. Uttaranchal University’s Law College Dehradun once again demonstrated its commitment to providing quality legal education and fostering the growth of future legal leaders.
The event ended with formal vote of thanks proposed by Ms Vanshita, President of the Training and Recruitment Division, followed by the national anthem.
