The School of Applied and Life Sciences organized a one-week offline workshop on MATLAB from 05 August to 10 August 2024 to offer hands-on experience in numerical computation and programming.
The workshop starts with an inaugural session with a lamp lighting ceremony and a welcome address by Prof (Dr) Ajay Singh, the Convener of the workshop, who introduced MATLAB's role in applied science research. The members of faculty and students from the Department of Mathematics actively participated in two daily sessions covering MATLAB basics and advanced tools, with hands-on exercises to reinforce learning. Distinguished speakers deepened participants' understanding of MATLAB's applications in research and professional work.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof V K Srivastava, Co-Convener, expressing gratitude to all speakers and participants for their active involvement. Special appreciation was given to Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma, Dr Ashish Rayal, and Dr Vikas Kumar for their efforts in efficiently organizing the workshop.
