UCN, Uttaranchal University organized an induction programme for freshers. The aim of the programme was to ensure that every student feels welcomed, excited to begin this new stage in their education and to make students aware about their academic aspects of course, the rules and regulations of the college.
The induction programme was scheduled for 6 days.
DAY- 1 (01/08/2024) The day commenced with welcoming of the students with their respective parents, then orientation was done of building, labs by faculties of Nursing.
DAY – 2 (02/08/2024) Welcoming of the guest and inauguration of lamp on behalf of respected guests. Students were guided by the Dean /Principal. The students were addressed by Pro Vice-chancellor, Vice -Chancellor where they shared their valuable thoughts. An antiragging session was also done.
DAY- 3 (05/08/2024) Detailed introduction about Nursing was done by faculty members to acknowledge students.
DAY - 4 (06/08/24) Introduction of the students and activities on their interest and their hobby was done.
DAY – 5 (07/08/2024) An educational visit to FRI, Dehradun was organized for the freshers to acquaint them with nature.
DAY – 6 (08/08/2024) An ice breaking session was executed by seniors with their freshers to foster a comfortable environment for them.
