Law College Dehradun organized the faculty induction programme ‘Adhishtapan’ 2024 under the aegis of DIQAC on 2 August 2024. The newly inducted members were welcomed into the family of LCD and were addressed by Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Principal, LCD stated the accomplishment of any mission requires a consolidated team effort and emphasised on the need to enhance legal research. Dr Radhey Shyam Jha, Head, LCD shared the relevance of the academic curriculum and explained the use of ERP in brief. Prof Jitender Singh, HoD, Management shared the protocols of the discipline process of mentor-mentee interactions while Prof (Dr) Anil Kumar Dixit spoke on the importance of maintaining a good and well-documented course file, the index of quality education. Mr Kumar Ashustosh, Head of Humanities shared the examination protocols. Dr. Lakshmi Priya Vinjamuri, the convenor of the event and Head of DIQAC, LCD shared the process of various criteria of NAAC and benchmarking leading to quality and enhanced holistic education. Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna spoke at length on the journey of LCD since 2003 and its achievements. The event concluded on a high note of camaraderie and all the colleagues, and the new inductees joined for an interactive high tea.
