A hands-on session on Enhancing classroom learning through AI-based ICT tools was conducted on 02 August 2024 under the School of Liberal Arts’ Knowledge Sharing Series. This hands-on Session was led by Prof (Dr) Shravan Kumar, Dean, SLA focusing on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools to enhance students’ conceptual understanding. Prof Kumar introduced faculty members to innovative tools such as Nearpod, Kahoot, Mentimeter, and Quizizz highlighting their benefits in making learning more interactive and engaging. These tools facilitate real-time feedback, promote collaborative learning, and provide detailed performance analytics.
The session emphasized the importance of integrating these ICT tools to capture students’ attention, offer immediate feedback, and tailor teaching strategies based on data-driven insights. The event was a resounding success, inspiring faculty members to implement these strategies in their classrooms, thereby revolutionizing the learning experience at School of Liberal Arts. The event was duly coordinated by Mr Ashutosh Sharma, KSS coordinator of SLA.
