An Industrial Visit to QH Talbros Ltd, Dehradun was organized by CRC Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management for MBA First Year students on 23 August,2024.
Dr Bipin Kandpal, Dr Shailesh Chamola and Mr Ashish Jugran were the coordinators of the visit which was proposed and guided by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM & Dr Tilottama Singh, HoD, Management.
The objective of the visit was to make the students aware about the Manufacturing Co, mainly focused on contract manufacturing and distribution systems in automobile Industry.
Students were welcomed by Mr Ankur Rana, Manager HR & Admin. Students were escorted by the production supervisor to visit various sections of the plant. The students observed the manufacturing of various automotive parts to be supplied to leading automobile companies across the country and at global level. He also explained about the supply chain management, distribution and marketing process of the company working as an ancillary unit for leading automobile companies. The HR manager briefed about various policies and practices used at the plant.
At the end, students were invited for queries which were responded by him aptly and with proper details. Students appreciated the practical exposure received by them.
