A Faculty Orientation Program Education Driven by Quality Outcomes was organized on 31 August 2024 by the Departmental Internal Quality Assurance Cell (DIQAC) of the Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Practical strategies for lesson planning, teaching differentiation, and student engagement were provided during this orientation session. By fostering teacher collaboration, a culture of ongoing development is fostered. Professional learning groups are a great way to collaborate and get insight into the new work environment, as the orientation stressed. Educating faculty members about their roles and responsibilities and disseminating effective, high-quality, outcome-based teaching methods were the objectives of the program, which also aimed to improve the institution. Important academic difficulties were brought to the faculty's attention by Dr Vikash Jakhmola, Director, UIPS Director who also gave advice on how to follow through on them.

In addition, Dr Jakhmola provided an overview of the organization's policies and procedures as well as the requirements for superior research and teamwork. In addition to discussing the NAAC Accreditation and associated Criteria I–VII, Dr Nidhi Gairola, HOD and DIQAC of UIPS, also talked about roles and responsibilities towards the institution and university. The speaker has addressed the routine use of ICT tools and has also talked about obtaining quality-based education. Mrs Pallavi Ghildiyal gave a briefing on examination-related matters and talked about the function and responsibilities of the mentor-mentee relationship with the incoming faculty members. Research IDs and research repositories are required, and Ms. Vanshika describes how the ERP operates.

Mr Arun Thakur discussed how e-books and e-journals can be accessed. The event was coordinated by Mrs Jyotsana Suyal, Assistant Professor, UIPS.
