Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University organized an Expert Talk on Cyber Security for the students of MCA, BCA and B Sc (IT) on 18 April 2024. The objective of the event was to inspire and motivate individuals to prioritize cyber security, both in their personal and professional lives, and to contribute towards building a more secure digital future for all. The expert of the event was Mr Pradipto Chakrabarty Regional Director, CompTIA.
The event began with the felicitation of guests by Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Dean USCS. She stressed that cybersecurity is not a one-time fix; it's an ongoing process that requires vigilance, collaboration, and innovation.
The expert Mr Pradipto Chakrabarty provided participants with a solid foundation in cyber security concepts and practical skills. He demonstrated cyber threats continue to evolve in complexity and sophistication, posing significant risks to individuals, businesses, and nations alike. In this digital age, where data is currency and connectivity is ubiquitous, our defenses must be robust and adaptive.
Under the guidance of Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, the event was successfully cconducted by Mr Sanjay Mishra.
