The Department of Food Technology, School of Applied and Life Science (SALS) has organized bridge course for the B Sc Food Technology, M Sc Food Technology and M Sc Nutrition and dietetics first year students with the aim to facilitate a smooth transition for the students moving from one educational level to the next. The primary objective was to address the gaps in knowledge and skills to ensure that students are adequately prepared for their upcoming academic challenges.
The course ran for a week and all the faculty members gave valuable insights to the students about the course and other methodologies. The course covered the related subject areas with the help of Interactive lectures, group discussions, lab visits, and library visits.
