Law College Dehradun organised 1st Intramural Elevator Pitch Competition, 2024

Law College Dehradun, Training and Recruitment Division hosted its 1st Intramural Elevator Pitch Competition on 18 March 2024. The event, structured in three key phases—preliminary round, semi-finals, and finals was designed to sharpen students' ability to deliver concise and effective elevator pitches, essential for seizing professional opportunities. In the preliminary round, the evaluation was conducted by two distinguished panels of judges, led respectively by Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Dean, Law College Dehradun, and Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Principal Law College Dehradun, focusing on the participants' initial presentation skills. Advancing to the semi-final, the competitors refined their pitches under the scrutiny of Ms. Neetu Kainth, CEO of Rab & Rab Associates, and Ms Sunidhi Sah, Associate Rab & Rab Associates, emphasizing the practical application of their skills. The competition culminated in a final round judged by Dr Aman Rab, Partner, Rab & Rab Associates. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony where winners were celebrated, exemplifying the success of this initiative in cultivating key professional skills among law students, encouraging a tradition of similar future competitions at the institution. 

The Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with a commendable turnout of 50 dedicated contestants. The active engagement and keen interest displayed by each participant played a pivotal role. Organized by the Training and Recruitment Division, the event received positive feedback for its structure and the quality of insights provided by the esteemed judges which effectively boosted students' confidence and communication skills, marking a promising annual addition to the university’s events calendar.
