An Industrial Visit to India Glycols Ltd., Dehradun was organized by CRC Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management for MBA students on 27 August 2024.
India Glycols Ltd, known for its presence in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, personal care, and industrial sectors, provided students with a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.
The visit was facilitated by Mr Swatantresh Mishra, Head, HR, India Glycols Limited, who offered a comprehensive overview of the company's operations, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and innovation. The students were given a guided tour of the production units, where they observed the various stages of chemical production, gaining practical insights into supply chain management, quality control, and the importance of environmental and safety standards.
The visit concluded with an interactive session where students engaged with Mr. Mishra and other executives, discussing management practices, human resources challenges, and the evolving role of technology in the chemical industry. The session also included career guidance, emphasizing the need for continuous learning and adaptability.
The overall visit was an enriching experience, enhancing students' understanding of industrial processes and providing practical knowledge essential for their future careers. The students expressed their gratitude to Mr Mishra and the team at India Glycols Limited for their hospitality.
