Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized Two Weeks Faculty Development Programme on “Quality Enhancement of Pharmaceutical Research: Traditional Knowledge System to Futuristic Approach” from 08 July 2024 to 21 July 2024 which was inaugurated by keynote speaker Prof (Dr) Ranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, Shobhit University, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean UIPS 

Various eminent speakers were deliberated in the FDP who shared their expertise with all the participants i.e. Prof (Dr) Dilip Kumar Pal, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Prof (Dr) Havagiray R Chitme, Deputy Director, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Noida, UP. Prof (Dr) Nitin Sharma,  Amity University, Noida, Dr Mahendra Rana, Associate Professor, Kumaun University, Prof (Dr) Sachin Kumar Singh, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lovely Professional University, Dr Neeraj Sethiya, Associate Professor, DIT University, Dehradun, Dr Shuaib Khan, Deputy General Manager, R& D. India Glycols Limited, Prof (Dr) G S Chakraborthy, Parul University, Gujrat, Dr Vijay Jyoti Kumar, Associate Professor, HNB Garhwal University. Dr. N G Raghavendra Rao, Professor, KIET School of Pharmacy and Prof (Dr) Ravinesh Mishra, Dean, School of Pharmacy, Baddi University, (HP).  

All the sessions were very informative and fruitful. More than 150 Researchers and members of faculty participated in this FDP and grab the knowledge shared by the eminent speakers. The program concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr Supriyo Saha, Associate Professor, UIPS on day fourteen with a wrap-up and evaluation session. Participants interacted with the speakers and shared their experiences, provided the feedback and assessment of the programme. The event was coordinated by Mrs Jyotsana Suyal, Assistant Professor, UIPS and Ms Shalu Verma, Assistant Professor, UIPS.
