Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), Uttaranchal University organized a comprehensive one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in collaboration with Antara Senior Living, Dehradun from 8 July to 14 July 2024 held at Antara Senior Living in Guniyal Gaon, Dehradun. This initiative drew participation from all faculties of USHHM, offering them a valuable platform to delve into the latest industry developments and emerging trends. Throughout the programme, faculty members were closely engaged with industry experts, gaining profound insights into cutting-edge technological advancements.
The FDP included practical sessions in departments such as Food Production, F&B Service, Housekeeping, and Front Office Operations, providing hands-on experience crucial for integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
A highlight of the event was a concluding day discussion focusing on fostering deeper collaboration between academia and industry based on patenting, research methodologies, and effective training strategies, aiming to enhance the synergy between educational initiatives and industry requirements.
