Division of Research & Innovation Inaugurated One Month Summer Internship on AI and Computer Vision

One Month Summer Internship was inaugurated at Division of Research and Innovation, Uttaranchal University in collaboration with Tejasya Innovative Solutions in which University, college and school students participated with great enthusiasm The event started with a warm welcome of Shri Jitender Joshi Ji, President, Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice President, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Singh, Director, Research & Innovation and Prof (Dr) Anita Gehlot, Head of Research and Innovation by the host of the day Aashna Sinha. The event was formally inaugurated with lamp lightning and Saraswati Vandana. 

 

The focus of internship was to develop the skills in the field of Artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Python for sustainable development. AI enables smart decision-making through data analysis, predicting patterns, and optimizing processes. Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice- Chancellor emphasized on the importance of AI where the convergence of AI with education can unlock unprecedented opportunities. By integrating AI into our curriculum and research, we can foster innovation, enhance learning experiences, and prepare students to solve the complex challenges and prepare robots for sustainable future.  

Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice President, motivated students to utilise summer break for internships in AI, highlighting the benefits of hands-on experience, skill development, and the potential for meaningful contributions to society. 

Shri Jitender Joshi Ji, President motivated the audience by highlighting the impact and potential of AI, Python, Robotics and IoT in education, leadership, and future technological advancements. 

Prof (Dr) Rajesh Singh shared his vision on conducted these training programs for the overall development and benefits to the students to have a more sustainable career option. 

Mr Ravi Teja, Founder, Tejasya Innvative solution was also present and shared the curriculum plan for internship with participants
