Pro Bono Club of Law College Dehradun in collaboration with Legal Aid Centre conducted a Door-to-Door campaign, in the local villages of the area on 1 May 2024 on Labour's Day. The event was initiated in the benign presence of Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Principal, Law College Dehradun, Presiding Officer, Pro Bono Club & Dy. Director, Legal Aid Centre, and Mr Abhiranjan Dixit, Faculty-in-charge, Pro Bono Club & Chairperson, Legal Aid Centre. 

The campaign started from quality construction site, Wherein Mr Sudeep Chandra, Student Head PBC & President LAC, commenced by expressing appreciation to the workers. Following this, he provided an overview of the Pro Bono Club and its schemes regarding the welfare of the Labour class. The second session was conducted by Mr Nehal Ray, Sr Member, PBC and Vice- President LAC, in Pondha working site. During the session, he provided a comprehensive discussion on the topic of schemes initiated by the Indian Government for the working class while, Ms Sneha Agarwal addressed the pertinent issues of irregular wages. The third session was conducted in the agricultural field of Manduwala Village wherein the members of the Club interacted with the workers and acknowledged their grievances. Moreover, the interactive session was an integral part of the campaign. 

The campaign's main aim was to educate the laborers on legal issues and to teach them about their rights. A review meeting was called by Mr Sudeep Chandra at 2 PM, during the meeting, suggestions were provided to enhance effectiveness of upcoming campaign.
