One week FDP Program on “Application of Computational tools in Research” was organized from 31 May 2024 to 5 June 2024 by School of Applied & Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University. The FDP was inaugurated by Shri Jitender Joshi, President, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Ajay Singh, Dean & Convenor, Prof (Dr) Raman Nautiyal, Statistician, Ex-ICFRE, Prof V K Srivastava, Dr Sumit Chaudhary, Director UIT, Prof (Dr) Ajay Singh briefed about the objectives of the FDP and the significance of application of computational tools in research.
The Vice-Chancellor focused on use of latest computational tools in research for quality paper writing. Mat Lab & R Software were highlighted by Dr Sumit Chaudhary in his talk. Zotero tools was discussed by Dr Arun Balodi, Professor, Dayanand Sagar University, Bangalore). Computational tools in life sciences were discussed by Dr Arun Bhatt, Professor, GBPIET, Pauri, Latex tools & application was discussed by Dr Rashmi Chaudhary, NSUT, Delhi. More than 35 faculty & research scholars from various institution participated in FDP.
