Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Uttaranchal University, arranged a day educational expedition to the Indian Red Cross Society State Branch Uttarakhand, for B Sc Nursing II semester students on 4 May 2024. Mr Munshi Chaumwal, Disaster Management Coordinator at the Indian Red Cross Society coordinated the entire visit He reviewed the previous knowledge of the Indian Cross Society and first aid from all the students and then explained that first aid is the care that is given to a person who needs emergency care. He also gave details of his work and the work of other members during the First Aid situation. In this session, he gave in-depth information about CPR, Cardiac Emergencies, Bandages and Prevention of Severe bleeding. He showed the complete procedure of CPR with the help of a CPR dummy. part from this, Mr. Munshi Chaumwal discussed the commonest serious medical condition i.e. shock. Along with shock, he also talked about the disaster because he is the disaster management coordinator at Indian Red Cross Society, Uttarakhand 

At last, Ms Gulshan Attri, a Nursing Tutor at UCN and Ms Arti Pundir, Nursing Tutor of UCN, expressed gratitude on the behalf of Uttaranchal College of Nursing to the Indian Red Cross Society for their assistance and positive outcome.
