Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organized two days International Conference on Industry 5.0: Innovation and Adoption for Sustainability- ICIIAS 2024 on 4 & 5 April 2024.
Shri Jitender Joshi, Chancellor felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr Anoop Nautiyal keynote speaker, Dr. Sushil Kumar Sharma recognizing their expertise and contribution to the field of sustainability. Our sponsor Mr. Nikhil graced the occasion with his presence.
The session started with the opening remark of Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Dean UIM extending a warm welcome to all dignitaries and participants, emphasizing the significance of collaboration and innovation in driving sustainability in the industrial landscape.
Prof (Dr) Suri also briefed about Conference details, achievements, and conference proceedings. He mentioned that this conference has witnessed 532 research papers,198 research papers submitted by students, 2 ISBN books, 43 articles from all around the globe. 294 papers will be published in 02 books by Springer and Taylor and Francis.
Dr Sushil Kumar Sharma, CEO of Sustaineco delivered an enlightening Keynote Address, offering profound insights into the paradigm shift towards Industry 5.0. Dr Kyla Tennin, US Ambassador for Peace esteemed international guest shared her perspectives on global trends and best practices in sustainable innovation. Dr Julia Swart discussed her research on the Industrial Revolution, globalization and rise of shared economy, adoption for ethical practices of production. Revered Chief Guest, Dr Anoop Nautiyal, Founder of SDC, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the imperative of sustainability-driven approaches in shaping the future of industries with special reference to Uttarakhand state.
The conference concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks extended by Dr Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, sponsors, and organizers for their invaluable contributions towards making the event a resounding success.
