An Industrial Visit to Mankind Pharm. Ltd., Paonta Sahib

 

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organised an Industrial Visit/ Educational Trip from 26 to 28 April 2024 for students of B Pharm II year at Mankind Pharm. Ltd., Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. Students visited the Parenteral section of the company where various injections were formulated, and they learned about the processing and manufacturing of parenteral dosage forms. This visit gives the exposure to the students very well, which is a need of today. They have an interactive session with Mr Raman Kumar, Plant Head of the company. Further, the students visited the nearby places and moved towards Shimla where the students visited various prominent attractions like Mall Road, Hanuman Temple, Christ Church, Kalbadevi Temple, and the exotic flora and fauna of Kufri.

The visit was coordinated by Mrs Jyotsana Suyal, Assistant Professor, Mr. Krishna Kumar, Assistant Professor, Mr. Abhishek Singh, Assistant Professor, Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS.
