A workshop on “Trademark and Patent Laws in India” was organized by the DIQAC Cell of Law College Dehradun in collaboration with the Division of Research and Innovation faculty of Uttaranchal University on 1 March 2024. The Workshop was graced with the presence of Advocate Ashish Sharma and Mr Vedant Pujari, Partner Accures, besides Prof (Dr) Dharam Bhuddhi, Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean Law College Dehradun, Dr Rajesh Singh, Director Division of Research and Innovation, Dr Anita Ghelot, Head, Division of Research and Innovation, Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Principal, Law College Dehradun, Dr Lakshmi Priya Vinjamuri, Convenor DIQAC and all the faculty members from different departments of the University and participants from different Universities across India in Hybrid mode.
The event commenced with the 1st speaker as Advocate Ashish Sharma, Managing Director IP Nation on Patent Law who made it a captivating session. Many questions were put forward by the participants and answered by the speaker in such a zestful manner. The 2nd speaker Mr Vedant Pujari, Partner Accures Legal rendered an impressive session where the participants were starstruck by his practical knowledge and all the flooded queries just faded away with his impactful way of answering.
The overall workshop was so interactive, and the objective of learning was accomplished. It was beautifully ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Lakshmi Priya Vinjamuri convener, DIAQC, Law College Dehradun. The event was successfully concluded by a team of 20 members with over 300 participants.
