Visit to Swastik Food Technology India Private Limited

 

An industrial visit was organized by the Department of Food Technology, School of Applied and Life Sciences, Sith the permission and guidance to Swastik Food Technology India Private Limited with agenda “Expand your Horizons” exploring diverse facets of Indian Culture and food industry.  Students were accompanied by Er Junaid Aman, Mr Mohd Kamran, Ms Nandini Panwar, Dr Kanika Dulta. All the students with Staff left the premises on 5 March 2024.  India Swastik Food Food Industries established in 1995 and gained immense expertise in supplying & trading of Wafers, namkeen etc. The company is in Jaipur, Rajasthan and is one of the leading sellers of listed products. Students were briefed about the work culture and overall functioning of all the departments. 

The students learned many practical aspects of the company’s work during the visit. This visit helped students to bridge the gap between theory and Practical. This visit will also help students in future practical life and bring change in their practical behavior regarding education and specializing their skills. Students also experienced the Historical Monuments like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Amber Fort, Hawa mahal, Jal Mahal, City Palace, etc, the journey emphasized cultural sensitivity and the ethical study of food processing and packaging.
