On 02 March 2024 School of Agriculture organized a Training session on isolation of pure culture of mushroom species. The subject expert Dr Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Professor, SOA demonstrated the student participants about the media preparation, selection of healthy mushroom, inoculation of live tissues of mushroom on culture media, environmental conditions required for incubation and mycelial growth analysis. Students learnt the usage of autoclave, laminar air flow and BOD incubator.
