Herbal Garden Visit

 

Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organised an herbal garden visit for students of B pharma II year at Forest Research Institute (FRI) Dehradun. This visit was conducted under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS. The visit was coordinated by Ms Mansi Butola, Assistant Professor, Ms Sadhna Rawat, Assistant Professor, Mr Krishna Kumar, Assistant Professor, Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. 

The Outcome of the herbal Garden visit to the Forest Research Institute was to motivate and educate students about the use of various medicinal plants, to identify the species of different herbal plants, and to understand the morphological characterization. It will help students identify various herbal plants and their biological names, medicinal benefits etc. This initiative of promoting herbal garden visits helps them to recognize the importance of herbal plants in our lives.
