In a bid to delve into the realms of spirituality and self-discovery, the Department of Mathematics, School of Applied and Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University hosted a captivating guest lecture on the topic "Finding Inner Self for Soul Salvation" on 23 February 2024, by Dr Vinaya Kumar Sethi, the esteemed Nodal Officer of the Environment Awareness and Value Consciousness Cell at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar.
The lecture, attended by approximately 700 students from both undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the School of Applied and Life Sciences (SALS), along with faculty members, proved to be a momentous occasion. Prof (Dr) Ajay Singh, Dean SALS delivered a welcome address, expressing gratitude to Dr Vinaya Kumar Sethi for sharing his invaluable insights on spirituality and self-discovery. Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor extended his greetings to all attendees, applauding their enthusiasm for intellectual exploration.
