The School of Agriculture, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun celebrated World Soil Day – 2023 on 05 December 2023. The event aimed to highlight the importance of soil conservation and sustainable land management practices. Students enthusiastically participated in various activities, including plantation drives within the university campus. The event also featured insightful discussions and presentations where students shared their thoughts on the significance of preserving soil and the necessity of planting more trees for a greener future. Taking a step towards environmental stewardship, students solemnly took an oath to uphold sustainable practices and actively contribute to soil conservation efforts.
