Law College Dehradun had a weeklong celebration on the auspicious occasion of Constitution Day, as a mark of this, 4th edition of Intra-Collegiate Quiz Competition was organized on 04 December 2023 under the aegis of Legal Aid Centre in Collaboration with Pro Bono Club, Law College Dehradun.
The First Round of the competition i.e. the written round consisted of 50 questions, each designed to assess the participant's understanding of constitutional principles, landmark cases, etc. The questions were thought-provoking, requiring participants to showcase their analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge. It not only provided a platform for legal minds to showcase their strength in constitutional matters but also contributed to the larger goal of promoting awareness and understanding of the constitutional framework. The event witnessed the participation of more than 200 students.
The distinguished presence of Dean, Law College Dehradun, Director, Legal Aid Centre and Nodal Officer Pro Bono Club, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Head and Principal, Law College Dehradun, Dy. Director, Legal Aid Centre and Presiding Officer, Pro Bono Club, Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat. Chairperson, Legal Aid Centre and Faculty In-Charge, Pro Bono Club, Mr Abhiranjan Dixit Sir. President, Legal Aid Centre and Student Head, Pro Bono Club, Mr Sudeep Chandra. Vice President, Legal Aid Centre and Senior Core Committee Member, Pro Bono Club, Mr Nehal Ray, added an extra layer of significance to the event. The meticulous planning and execution of the organizing committee was acknowledged, and they were commended for their dedication in ensuring a smooth and intellectually stimulating event.
