Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management recently hosted an enlightening session on "Women's Health and Hygiene," organized by the Women Cell, under the aegis of women cell, Uttaranchal university, in a significant step towards empowering its female students, faculty, and staff. The event took place on 03 November 2023 featured Dr Satwinder Kaur Malhotra, a distinguished expert in women's health.
Dr Malhotra shared her extensive knowledge and experience, shedding light on essential topics, including menstrual health, reproductive health, personal hygiene, nutrition, and mental well-being. Her insights dispelled myths and taboos surrounding these issues, creating a safe space for discussion and learning.
Ms Sapna Bisht, Women Cell Coordinator at USHHM, played a crucial role in making the event a success. Special thanks were extended to guest speaker Mrs Ruhi Quadri and students from the Mass Communication for their active participation.
The session was a testament to Uttaranchal University's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for the well-being and empowerment of its female community members.
