Uttaranchal University takes great pride in announcing the launch of its brand-new university newsletter, UU DOON. Crafted to engage, educate, and inspire the academic community at UU, UU DOON is poised to become an indispensable resource for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and all individuals affiliated with the Uttaranchal University family.
The unveiling of this University Newsletter took place at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, Uttaranchal University, as part of a two-day International Conference hosted by the School of Applied and Life Sciences on "Synergetic Innovations & Biotechnological Advancement for Sustainable Development" on September 29, 2023. The Newsletter was officially introduced by Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi (in absentia), Uttaranchal University, Vice-President Prof. Satbir Singh Sehgal, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dharam Buddhi, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean of the School of Applied and Life Sciences, Prof. Ajay Singh, Eminent Scientists & Researchers during the international conference, Director (IQAC) Er. Rajesh Deorari, Assistant Managers, Er. Sudhir Jugran & Er. Rishi Dev Nautiyal from IQAC, other Dean, Director, Principal, Authorities from Administrative Staff, Faculty members & Students from Academic Schools at Uttaranchal University.
The event commenced with a welcoming address by the Associate Professor (UIT), Dr. Pinki Chugh, the Editor of UU DOON Newsletter. Dr. Chugh gave an overview of the extensive efforts put forth by the UU Newsletter Committee team in developing the newsletter. UU DOON is an initiative spearheaded by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the dedicated members of the Uttaranchal University Newsletter Committee, who are committed to delivering engaging and informative content. The IQAC has made diligent efforts to cover all facets of academia in the newsletter.
UU DOON will serve as a platform to showcase the outstanding accomplishments, ground-breaking research, and inspirational narratives that define Uttaranchal University. With its diverse content, the newsletter aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and solidarity among our community members while keeping them abreast of the latest developments on and off campus.
