Cultural Club, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organized the Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2023 to mark the birth anniversary of a great teacher-scholar and its second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The event was a tribute to the educators who have played a pivotal role in shaping their academic and professional journeys. In a colorful and vibrant display of gratitude, students flooded the campus with an air of festivity.
Mr. Aditya Kondal, Student coordinator presented the statue of Lord Ganesha to Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM as a token of gratitude. The event was an electrifying cultural extravaganza featuring dance and music performances. The students left no stone unturned to entertain their beloved professors. The performances ranged from soul-stirring classical dances to energetic hip-hop routines. Faculty members and students alike swayed to the rhythm, reinforcing the bond between them.
The Teachers' Day celebration by the students of UIM was not just a day of fun and festivity; it was a day filled with heartfelt emotions and a sense of profound gratitude. It showcased the strong bond between teachers and their students, emphasizing the importance of mentorship in the pursuit of knowledge and success.
The day concluded with a heartfelt closing ceremony, during which students shared personal anecdotes and recounted the ways in which their teachers had influenced their lives. Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM extended his heartiest thanks to all students on behalf of staff. He appreciated the students for their successful coordination. The event was planned and executed by the students, Mr. Aditya Kondal, MBA-II Year, President, Cultural club, along with the other student volunteers and Faculty coordinators, Ms. Sonakshi Bhatia, Head-Cultural & Academic Affairs, UIM Dr. Babita Rawat, Associate Professor, UIM, Ms. Ayushi Sharma, Assistant Professors, UIM, Mr. Manish Galwan, Assistant Professors, UIM, Mr. Hardev Singh, Assistant Professors, UIM. All the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious event to cherish forever.
