School of Agriculture (SOA) Celebrates Hindi Diwas Promoting Linguistic Diversity and Cultural Heritage

Hindi Diwas is an annual event celebrated on September 14th every year in India to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages of India. This day holds great significance as it promotes the rich cultural heritage and linguistic diversity of the country. In keeping with this tradition, the School of Agriculture (SOA), under the aegis of the Cultural Committee, celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and fervor. A Debate and Essay Writing Competition were organized on the topics of 'Compulsion of Hindi Language Learning in Curriculum' and 'Privatization for a nation: Is it good or bad?' Prof. (Dr.) Mahipal Singh, Dean of SOA, addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of everyone. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Head of the SOA department, encouraged the students to communicate in Hindi.
