Uttaranchal College of Nursing, Uttaranchal University, organized an awareness program on World Alzheimer’s day on 21 September 2023 at Prem Dham Old age home Dhalenwala, Dehradun. Students interacted with the old age women and their caretakers then shared the information regarding Alzheimer’s with them. Students also explained the causes, sign & symptoms and its management in detail. Students made them involve in many other activities with their interest like painting, indoor games etc. The student’s outcome was very informative for all old age women & their caretakers. They felt very happy during interaction with the students. They shared their feeling, emotions & views with the students. At the end, Students offered some snacks and fruits to them and gifted a Carrom board as a token of love. All the members expressed thanks to students & faculty of UCN, UU.
