Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University organised Continuing Medical Education (CME) in Publication Scientific Writing & Drug Safety Program “National Pharmacovigilance Week” Theme "Boosting Public Confidence in Pharmacovigilance" held on 23 September 2023. The event was inaugurated with Lamp Lighting Ceremony followed by University Anthem. Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean UIPS briefed about the event. Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor addressed the eminent speakers. Guest of Honour Prof. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Former Vice Chancellor, SBS University, Uttarakhand motivated the students & shared his experience on pharmacovigilance. The gathering was addressed by eminent Keynote Speakers Prof. Bikash Medhi, Professor, Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh he also explained how to write the scientific paper and ethical for writing and publication. Dr. Ajay Prakash, Associate Professor, Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh shared information about the pharmacovigilance and materiovigilance program. The CME was very informative and interactive. Student queries were very well explained by the speaker. Total 200 candidates registered for program from different Institutions and Universities.
