Alumni Cell Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University, organized an online workshop on “React JS” for the students of BCA, BSc-IT and MCA on September 30, 2023. The objective of the workshop was to give participants a thorough understanding of the various dimensions of React JS. The workshop was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Dean USCS, Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma HOD USCS. The trainer of the workshop was Mr. Diptamon Chakraborty, a software engineer at To the New Pvt. Ltd., Alumnus-MCA Uttaranchal University.
Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma addressed the students, encouraging them to always expand their skill sets, keep up with industry developments, and actively look for opportunities for career progression. She encouraged students to explore all opportunities that came their way.
Mr. Diptamon explains what exactly React JS is, and he focused on its component base front end library, which is used at the view layer of MVC architecture. He also explains the modular use of its interface and how React JS promotes the development of reusable UI components. He also explained the creating and rendering components, managing component state and props in React JS.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma, the event was successfully moderated by Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak, Head of Academic and Non-Academic Events at USCS. It was a great success with the support of Ms. Manisha Saini, Co-Head of Academic and Non-Academic Events at USCS, and Ms. Manisha Khanduja, Head Sanskriti Club USCS.
