The Sub-Unit Uttaranchal University 29 UK Bn, of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Dehradun conducted ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign-2023’ on 01st October 2023 at Govt. High School Kotra Santoor, Dehradun. This event, dedicated to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi on his Jayanti, aimed to instill a sense of hygiene among the residents of the area.
The day saw active participation from 30 dedicated cadets, faculty members, and volunteers, under the guidance of Lt. Nitin Duklan (ANO) and Mr. Sarweshwar Prasad (PI NCC). Together, they embarked on a successful cleanliness drive, leaving a lasting impact on the surroundings.
The motto of the event being the realization of the importance of cleanliness as a means to serve the community, the people were made aware of the need to engage in and adopt clean practices for leading a healthy life. The event's objectives were achieved as NCC cadets united to pay homage to the Father of the Nation through action.
