The School of Liberal Arts’ Literary Club celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with an essay writing competition on October 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The competition featured Bachelor of Arts Honours English students from the first and third semesters.
More than 50 students participated, tasked with critiquing the contemporary relevance of Gandhian philosophies, including “Ahimsa” (non-violence), “Sarvodaya” (the welfare of all), and “Swaraj” (self-governance).
Mr. Shubham Joshi organized the event, while Dr. Anubhuti Dhyani ensured its smooth coordination.
The competition encouraged students to explore and discuss the enduring significance of Gandhi’s principles. The essays showcased deep insights and critical thinking, making the event a success and highlighting the School of Liberal Arts’ commitment to intellectual growth and discourse.
