Biogenerika club of School of Applied and Life Sciences organized a one-day workshop on Immuno-Diagnostic techniques to commemorate Immunology Day 2023. The event aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate students in Biotechnology and Microbiology about various instruments and techniques utilized in immunology based diagnostics. The event was organized in association with DNALabs Dehradun. Dr, Narotam Sharma and Mr. Shashi Bhushan were invited expert who in their technical session demonstrated application of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), and Biochemical Analyzer as diagnostic tools. The event was hosted by Dr. Indra Rautela, along with the support of Dr. Sonika Kalia and Dr. Himani Badoni. Prof. Dr. Ajay Singh, Dean Applied science and Research, in his address motivated and inspired the participants and the organizing community to conduct similar events regularly. Also emphasized the significance of understanding immunity and the ways to boost the body's immune system. His speech highlighted the need for such workshops to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks or a conclusive line, delivered by Dr. Nishesh Sharma.
